Raised in Wet-min-ter, California, I can perfectly count to ten in Vietnamese, but please excuse my butchered Vietnamese beyond that.
I grew up in a house where shoes piled up by the front door and "Did you eat yet?" was less of a question and more of a way of saying "I love you."
My forms of exercise include: 12-hour wedding days, chasing my wild toddler around the house, dancing my little heart out at a concert, and convincing myself I'm going to get really good at tennis someday.
When I'm editing, you'll either catch me listening to Martin Garrix's most recent set at un unreasonable volume or a self-help podcast. (There's no in-between.)
I'm an aspiring outdoor enthusiast (who hates bugs and is afraid of heights) and an aspiring reader (who can't seem to finish a book if my life depended on it).

I saved up all my money from my first summer job to buy my very first DSLR camera. I studied fashion merchandising in college, but if I'm being honest, becoming a wedding photographer was always the plan.
I'm built for the wedding day chaos. I thriveeeee off of people's energy and love being surrounded by all the different relationships and interactions that happen on a wedding day -- the cousin who somehow knows everyone, the friend who's been there since middle school, the grandma watching you from afar, the sibling trying not to cry during their speech and failing anyway. I'm here for the crazy dance floors, family traditions, emotional speeches, and allllllll the happy tears.
Yes, I come home from shooting a wedding not being able to feel my feet and exhausted as hell, but its so worth the undescribable high that I get from doing what I absolutely love.

Unfortunately, no. I solely shooting engagements & weddings.
DO YOU HELP IN THE PLANNING PROCESS?
Yes! I'd like to think that my expertise lies far beyond just photography. I have a fashion merchandising degree as well as a background in graphic design so if it's helping you decide on what to wear or helping your vision come to life, I'm here to help. Not to mention I have over 10 years of experience in the wedding industry, so I'm more than happy to give you my opinion on absolutely ANYTHING wedding related.
HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU DELIVER?
On average, I deliver 30-50 images per hour for weddings. A wedding day can differ drastically from the number of people in a bridal party, including cultural traditions, or even unexpected delays that cause a long pause in the day. Due to the many variables, I do not give a guaranteed minimum number for deliverables. Although I do not guaranteed a minimum, there is no cap to how many pictures I deliver!
WHAT'S YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
For engagements, 2-4 weeks. For weddings/elopements, 12-16 weeks. No I don’t slap on a filter and call it a day. I put a lot of time into every photo that I deliver.
DO YOU GIVE RAW/UNEDITED PHOTOS?
I do not give RAW/unedited photos. The easiest way to explain this is that the pictures I deliver to ya is the finished product. If you’re looking for someone to push a button, I’m not your girl.
CAN YOU FIX ME IN PHOTOSHOP?
It’s basically my job to make you guys look GOOD. With that being said, during the shooting process, I look out for your best angles, make sure you don’t have a triple chin, no boogers sticking out or spinach in your teeth. In post production, at a minimum, I photoshop blemishes & bruises. I gotchu.
WE'RE AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. HELP.
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I'm the same way in front of the camera (bless my husband, he's a natural in front of the camera). Also, almost every couple tells me this. You don't need to know how to pose. I'll guide you through all the photo taking. My goal is for your photos to feel like you.

HAVE YOU SHOT AT MY VENUE BEFORE?
Odds are I most likely haven't, but as a professional, it's my job to know the best lighting/composition on the spot. Being the overly organized person I am, I always do my research on your venue beforehand and I almost always show up early to scout the best photo areas for your wedding photos.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH TEA CEREMONIES?
Absolutely!
CULTURAL TRADITIONS: WE'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. WILL YOU HELP GUIDE US?
Absolutely. Every family celebrates a little differently. Before the wedding, we'll talk through your timeline, traditions, and any moments that are especially meaningful to you so I know what to look for.
MULTIPLE LOCATIONS: WE'RE HAVING A TEA CEREMONY AT HOME AND THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION SOMEWHERE ELSE. IS THAT OK?
Of course. Many of my couples celebrate across multiple locations in one day. We'll build a timeline that flows naturally so that nothing feels rushed.
OUR FAMILY IS HUGE. CAN YOU HANDLE LARGE GROUP PHOTOS?
Yes! I may be only 5 feet tall, but you bet your ass I can get wrangle all your family members efficiently for family portraits so that everyone can get to partying sooner.
